Job Description / Responsibility
• Size Set Samples: To conduct Size set for each style in actual fabric and trims before the PPM is done.
- Pre-Production Meeting:
- Plan with Factory, Merchandising team and Technicians for a proper pre-production meeting.
- Ensure a complete understanding of product by the factory and self to execute it properly.
- Check the factory production plan to make sure the delivery meets on the stipulated time along with the Merchandising team.
• To conduct as many inlines as possible to protect the order.
• Make sure factory take responsibilities of their own products.
• Evaluate and submit correct Gold seal samples to technicians 7 days before the delivery date.
• Train factory team to improve work procedure and standards.
• Roll out MSCP successfully in Mothercare factories allocated to them and ensuring MSCP is fully understood and followed by factory.
• Document every visit properly in the reports.
• Make sure offered capacity is given to the Mothercare production.
• Make sure production is as per the sealing standards.
• Ensure all the Needle, Popper, Metal, Needle Detection and other Mothercare procedures are followed religiously in all factories.
• Conduct final inspections as per AQL Standard and document it properly.
• Develop factory quality team for self certification.
• Surprise visit to factories.
Educational Requirements
Bachelors Degree / BIFT/ TEXTILE SCIENCES.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Inspection, Production, Quality Control/Audit
Additional Job Requirements
• In-depth knowledge of factory procedure/practices and legal & safety measures
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Minimum exp – 5 years. In depth knowledge of manufacturing, legal & technical requirements of the product
• Relevant exposure in Quality control systems.
