It's beginning to look like Christmas...

Every year the Christmas decoration around town has little surprises. This year they decided to use recycled PET (soda) plastic bottles and thousands of electric poles have an unusual decor. At night, the ornaments are lit and create a beautiful and colorful effect.What can we do to make happy green holidays? Getting in the Christmas Spirit!

LOVE this time of year! My family has been visiting the past several days, had Thanksgiving at my house, I've been shopping the past two days and I am WORN OUT, but I love it! Happy Thanksgiving!

My poor neglected blog! I've had classes for work the past two weekends and finally I have a day free - too bad I have to spend it doing some power cleaning because we are having Thanksgiving at my house and my parents are coming in from out of town. I also have to go out of town tomorrow, will be back Monday and they come in on Tuesday. We only get Thursday and Friday off at our school system,

A thankful heart

I spotted this large white heron, the Great Egret, during a walk in the park with a friend. It was a sunny Saturday morning, a perfect time to just enjoy nature, chat and take pictures.
