The Power of a Flower

I'm reminded today of the power of flowers. A simple gesture; inexpensive, unexpected. Yet, the end result was lovely and heartwarming. A young couple approached my shop recently, seeing the cut flowers on display. He promptly plucked a carnation (yes, a carnation!) from the bucket and entered the shop to complete his purchase.
