Back To School

Today was the first day of school and my daughter's first day of Second Grade. Boy, does time fly!!! Have you made anything with Transparencies? I love the look of transparencies and the new clear books that are out. I have yet to make a clear book, although I did buy a few Styrene Blank sheets to make one with - these are a cheap alternative to the pre-made books and can be found at the craft store in the painting isle (where they have specialty & acrylic paints). Cars and trucks of yesteryear

These cars certainly wouldn't make it to a car show. They are all in such bad shape and they have been there on the same spot for years! My guess is that these cars are considered Classic, and were built long before pollution control, fuel economy and safety regulations became issues. I am sure they were very popular and expensive at the time and were once considered the best car of the year...

Wanted to pop in and post this card I did for this week's card sketch for Di Hickman:I used K&Co Papers, Bazzill, cotton lace, hemp cord, a chipboard tag, twill sticker by AMM, antique buttons and flowers.
